According to media reports: At 4 o'clock on the afternoon of September 5, a traffic accident occurred in Shuangfu Street, Shunqing City, Nanchong, Sichuan. A Tesla car with Chengdu license plate crashed into many cars and pedestrians on the road, and the scene was a mess.

A number of live video footage circulating on the Internet showed that the vehicle involved was a Chengdu-licensed liberation military vehicle. A tricycle was overturned at the scene and several injured people were lying on the road. There are traffic police and medical staff at the scene. An eyewitness described that there were many people and cars at the scene of the accident. In addition to many pedestrians being hit, cars, tricycles, motorcycles and electric cars were also hit.
