Wenzhou Nursing School can be traced back to 1979 Wenzhou Health Cadre Training School, and was named Wenzhou Nursing School in 20 10. Before 20 13, the school was directly under the Wenzhou Municipal Health Bureau. 20 13 may, according to the spirit of the municipal party Committee document, Wenzhou nursing school as a whole was placed under Wenzhou education bureau.

The school covers an area of 123.2 mu, with a building area of 65,928 ㎡. Its equipment, hardware and school buildings have reached the first-class level of similar schools in China. The main campus is surrounded by the Oujiang River, and the campus environment is picturesque.

The school now offers four majors: nursing, pharmacy, traditional Chinese medicine and orthopedics of traditional Chinese medicine, with a three-year academic system. It is the only secondary specialized school offering medical nursing in Wenzhou.
