Introduction of scenic spots in Xishan Park

Xishan Park is surrounded by Jiashan Road, Xishan Road and Huancheng North Road, covering an area of 87.89 hectares, with a construction area of 5.86 hectares, including flat land 1. 16 hectares and water surface of 4.70 hectares. It is divided into three parts: Xishan, Hidden Mountain and West Lake, which are interconnected to form a whole.

Xishan: Xishan consists of Xifeng, Guanyin, Longtou and Qianshan. There are Kumamoto Museum, Museum and Big Lawn (in front of the Museum) at the entrance. Xishan was developed in the Tang Dynasty. Xiqinglin Temple at that time was one of the five Zen forests in the Tang Dynasty (Yanling Temple in the middle and late Tang Dynasty and Ziqing Temple in the Song Dynasty). There are more than 90 shrines on the mountain, more than 200 cliff statues in Qian Shan, Li Yufeng, Guanyin Peak and Longtou Shilin, and a pavilion named Xifeng Pavilion.

Guanyin peak: Guanyin peak is located in Jiashan road in the north of the park, with an altitude of 328 meters and a relative height of 178 meters, second only to Xifeng. It is a treasure house of cliff statues, and Xifeng Pavilion is not far away. There are stone steps at the bottom of the peak, along which you can climb to the top. There are dozens of Buddha niches on both sides of the stone steps, about a hundred, the highest is 2 meters, and the smallest is only a few tens of centimeters.

Xifeng Pavilion: At the waist of Li Yufeng Mountain, it is a good place to watch the sunset of Xifeng, so it is called Xifeng Pavilion. Originally a wooden structure, it was built in 1958 and then abandoned. Now, on the platform of the old site, a new reinforced concrete superstructure is built, with a single-eave octagonal pavilion, pyramid top, Zhu Zhu and Qing Wa, with a height of10m, a width of 8.3m and an area of 7 1 m2. Zhou has a stone fence with an inscription by a famous painter and a couplet: "Surround Thousand Peaks; Sit in the pavilion and enjoy the wind ",inviting you to wander around, overlook, visit Lin Jing, open the block and enjoy your feelings.
