Qianjiang Campus of Hangzhou Senior High School in Zhejiang Province is located on the bank of Qiantang River, 2.5 kilometers away from the core area of Qianjiang New City. It covers an area of about 90,000 square meters, with a building area of about10.2 million square meters. It is the largest school in Hangzhou and the landmark building of Qianjiang New Town.

The predecessor of Hangzhou Senior High School in Zhejiang Province is "Zheng Yang Shushu" founded by 1899 and "Zhejiang Provincial Government Two-level Normal School" founded by 1906. 1923, the two schools merged into "Zhejiang No.1 Middle School"; 1928, renamed as "Zhejiang No.1 Middle School".

1929, "Zhejiang Provincial High School" was established; 1933, renamed as "Hangzhou Senior High School in Zhejiang Province"; 195 1 Hangzhou Middle School was merged and renamed as "Hangzhou No.1 Middle School in Zhejiang Province"; 1988 was renamed as "Hangzhou Senior High School in Zhejiang Province".

Qianjiang Campus is located in the golden plot of the second phase of Qianjiang New City, which was built with the investment of 1 100 million yuan by Qianjiang New City Management Committee. There are a viewing platform, an international exchange center, a heated swimming pool, a specialized badminton court, a national standard track and field, a concert hall that can accommodate more than 700 people and dozens of piano rooms.

There are also many functional classrooms and functional laboratories, and the only planetarium in China academic circles with dual functions of astronomical observation and demonstration.
