Historical Evolution of Huaihe Road

Huaihe Road was built on the basis of rural dirt roads in the 1960s and 1970s. The earliest construction was from Jingguang Road (now called Jingguang Middle Road) to Songshan Mountain, with a length of 3,386 meters. After that, the asphalt is poured in sections to become a flat road.

In 1980s and 1990s, with the development of Zhengzhou's urban construction, Huaihe Road was widened many times, extending from songshan road to Tongbai Road.
