How to adjust parameters when using intelligent precision cold welding machine?

When using cold welding machine, we should pay attention to adjusting the parameters, especially the intelligent precision cold welding machine. If the parameters are wrong, the welding effect will be greatly reduced. When using precision cold welding machine, the parameters to be adjusted mainly include working voltage, working frequency, electrode speed and shielding gas, which can be adjusted according to the instruction manual or the manufacturer's suggestion. When using cold welding machine, you may also encounter problems such as beading of welding wire, black or yellow solder joints, and inability to weld. Here are some solutions for you. Let's have a look. 1. How to adjust the parameters when using intelligent precision cold welding machine?

Many friends bought the precision cold welding machine, but found that it could not reach the use effect of the manufacturer. If it is not because of quality problems, the parameters are generally not well adjusted. Parameter adjustment in cold welding machine mainly includes:

1, operating voltage adjustment

The output voltage of cold welding machine determines the output pulse current, which can be continuously adjusted between 30 ~ 1 10V through the voltage adjustment knob and displayed by the voltage display instrument. When the voltage adjustment knob is adjusted clockwise, the voltage will increase, otherwise the voltage will decrease. When adjusting the output voltage in the non-working state, the energy stored in the internal capacitor is released slowly, and it takes some time to reach stability, so the voltage adjustment knob should be adjusted slowly. The higher the output voltage, the greater the output frequency, the faster the welding speed and the greater the surface roughness. Adjust the voltage to the required working voltage (30 ~ 80V) when repairing steel materials, and the voltage is generally 55 ~ 1 10V when repairing nonferrous metals such as aluminum and copper.

2. Adjustment of working frequency

Cold welding machine works in the state of narrow pulse and high current, and its working frequency refers to the frequency of output pulse current. The frequency adjustment range is 40 ~ 40~2 100Hz. When adjusting the frequency adjustment knob clockwise, the frequency increases, otherwise the frequency decreases. When working, the higher the pulse frequency, the faster the electrode deposition speed, the coarser the surface roughness, the lower the pulse frequency, the slower the electrode deposition and the finer the surface roughness. In general, the working frequency is 80 ~ 500 Hz. When repairing steel materials, adjust the frequency to the required working frequency (200 ~ 300 Hz), and when repairing nonferrous metals such as aluminum and copper, the frequency is generally 250 ~ 400 Hz.

3, electrode speed adjustment

Through the electrode adjustment knob on the front panel of the equipment, the rotating speed of the knob electrode can be adjusted. The adjustment range of rotating speed is 100 ~ 1000 rpm, and the general working speed of the electrode is 200 ~ 500 rpm. When the knob is adjusted clockwise, the rotation speed will increase, otherwise, the rotation speed will decrease. Usually, it is not necessary to adjust the speed to the highest speed or the lowest speed. The higher the rotating speed, the faster the deposition speed, the denser the surface deposition layer and the finer the surface roughness.

4. Selection and adjustment of protective gas

In the process of working in cold welding machine, shielding gas plays a good role in covered electrode deposition. The use of shielding gas can effectively improve the deposition rate of electrode and the density of deposited layer, and reduce the formation of defects in deposited layer. Argon is generally used as the protective gas, and the argon flow rate can be adjusted by the argon pressure reducing regulator, which is generally 5- 10L/min.

Note: The values provided by the above parameter adjustment are reference values, and the cold welding machine power and capacitance of different manufacturers are different. Please refer to the instruction manual or ask the manufacturer for specific parameters.

Second, cold welding machine common problems and solutions.

In the process of using cold welding machine, many friends have encountered the following problems. Here are some solutions:

1, the bead of welding wire failed to melt to the workpiece.

(1) cold welding machine's output power setting is too small. Solution: Adjust the pulse time and pulse current of cold welding machine to increase the output power of the machine.

(2) The tungsten needle is too far away from the workpiece and the welding wire is too close. Solution: place the tungsten needle at a distance of 0.3- 1.0mm from the extension wire of the welding wire, and keep the distance from the workpiece at a height of 0.2-0.7 mm When stepping on the pedal switch, don't let the tungsten needle deviate because of pedaling.

(3) The welding torch is too inclined, which leads to discharge directly on the welding wire. Solution: Make the welding gun vertical to the workpiece as far as possible, and keep the welding wire at 90 degrees with the tungsten needle.

(4) The welding head is not sharp and its strength is scattered. Solution: Grind the welding head according to the instruction.

(5) The end of the welding wire does not touch the workpiece. Solution: Make sure that the welding wire tip is in close contact with the workpiece, especially when the welding wire tip is slightly upturned, pay attention to adjustment.

2. Black or yellow solder joint

(1) cold welding machine output power is set too high. Solution: Adjust the pulse time and pulse current of the machine.

(2) The exposed part of tungsten needle is too long, which leads to insufficient argon protection. Solution: Re-adjust the tungsten needle to keep the exposed part at about 8 mm.

(3) argon is not turned on or there is no argon. Solution: When stepping on the pedal, check whether there is argon jet from the ceramic nozzle. If argon is not felt, please check whether the valve of argon cylinder is open and whether the pressure reducing valve works normally.

(4) The surface of the workpiece is dirty. Solution: Remove the oil stain and oxide impurities on the surface of the workpiece.

3. The machine has arc drawing sound, but it cannot be welded.

(1) The grounding cable is not connected to the workpiece. Solution: Connect the grounding cable to the workpiece reliably.

(2) Hold your hands high and don't touch the metal induction coil on the welding torch. Solution: When holding the welding torch, always keep at least one finger or palm in contact with the metal induction coil to ensure arc striking.

4. The welding wire cannot be welded after beading.

The reason may be that the diameter of bead-rising part of welding wire in cold welding machine is larger than the original diameter, resulting in insufficient welding power. Solution: cut off the beaded part; Or put the tungsten needle in a position below the standard to make it close to the workpiece and welding wire. In order to ensure the welding quality and beauty, it is suggested to cut off the hemmed part.

5, tungsten needle often stick to the workpiece.

(1) is too close to the workpiece. Solution: Keep the tungsten needle away from the workpiece.

(2) The welding wire pulls too much material. Solution: Put the welding wire away, or directly cut off the beaded part of the welding wire (if there are beads).
