At our suggestion, the community workers promised to take us to the residential building for sanitary renovation.

When I first came to the residential contract area, it was a mess. The walkways and open spaces in front of the building are full of rubbish and floating objects, and the green space between buildings is completely different. Rotten melon and fruit remains are piled up under the abandoned bricks, lush and thick roots are wrapped in layers of white garbage, and all kinds of onions, garlic and vegetables are planted in the green space of the community. In the wet, sticky and mottled mud, countless plastic bottles, cans, waste batteries and dirty paper towels are piled up everywhere.

Seeing the scene in front of us, all the students present put on gloves silently and acted quickly. With a shovel, they can shovel out a thick layer of garbage, dead leaves and melon seeds, and pour them into garbage bags with plastic bottles and fast food boxes. The palm-sized area should be shoveled at least three to five times before it can be completely eradicated. We bent down, squatted down, or used shovels, or used clips, or directly picked up by hand, and eradicated, picked up, classified and dumped the garbage for more than three hours. We did our best and finally finished most of the cleaning work.

However, after today's completion, how can we ensure that no one will throw garbage here tomorrow? Even if we do it every week, there is still no way to completely change the living environment of the residents here. How can we improve the happiness index of the residents? Everyone is thinking about where happiness comes from.

Many units, departments and citizens lack community awareness and are indifferent to community affairs, which affects and restricts the further development of community culture.

It is difficult to raise funds for the event. Due to the limited source of community funds, relatively small amount, more activities to be carried out, and basically no special funds for community cultural activities, many community activities are carried out by community residents themselves, such as making clothes, renting venues, buying props and so on.

It is difficult to enjoy community resources, and it is even more difficult to carry out community cultural activities. Because schools, factories, enterprises and companies in the community are not dominated by the community, it is difficult to enjoy the resources in the community because of the different administrative affiliation or the diversity of capital investment subjects. Take the school as an example. After class, the school has a large area of cultural and sports activities. These facilities are idle, but they are not used by community residents, which increases the difficulty of community cultural activities.

At present, the staffing of grass-roots communities is very small. Each community is equipped with about one or two cadres, and most of them have no full-time cultural cadres. Community cadres should undertake the tasks of social preferential treatment, family planning, urban subsistence allowance, environmental sanitation, social security, party building, civil mediation, etc. It is difficult for community cadres to have the energy to grasp cultural construction, which restricts the development of community cultural activities to some extent. Because there is basically no special cultural work in community neighborhood committees, the work of community cultural development is generally carried out by other experienced neighborhood Committee cadres or literary and sports talents who rely on community enthusiastic community construction. So the form is slightly worse.
