The reporter learned from the jiawang district shantytown renovation and resettlement housing construction promotion meeting held on July 9 that this year is a crucial year for jiawang district to fully complete the task of shantytown renovation and resettlement housing construction. The whole region plans to implement a shantytown renovation project of 480,000 square meters, and continue to actively and steadily promote shantytown renovation and resettlement housing construction.

While helping people in shanty towns "move out of their homes", jiawang district also "paves the way" for their production and life. Establish and improve the public employment service system covering urban and rural areas, relocate people in Dawu Street, Qingshan Spring, industrial parks, Jiangzhuang Town and other places, actively carry out vocational skills training, implement employment support policies, support individual or collective contracting of land management rights, and promote multi-channel employment transfer of rural labor. Jiawang district will combine the construction of resettlement houses with the project of creating a happy home, strictly follow the standards of commercial housing, build infrastructure such as roads, water, electricity, telecommunications, health, and other public facilities such as cultural squares, stadiums, bazaars, community clinics, and introduce convenience supermarkets.
