What are the architectural features of Ritan in Beijing?

The outer wall reaches the southwest corner of the altar wall from the west archway, with a length of 382 feet and 342 feet from the east archway to the northeast corner of the altar wall. Its permanent route is from Jingsheng Street to the south, east to Beitianmen, south from the gate, west to Fufutang, and south to Lu Shen. From the north gate to the north to the sacrificial vessel library, turn east to the sacrificial pavilion and the god library. All buildings adopt green glazed tiles, and the exterior wall tiles are covered with cyan glazed green edges.

The altar was originally made of red glass symbolizing the sun, but it was made of square bricks in Qing Dynasty. There are three white stone star gates in the west, and Liao stove pool outside the west gate. In the north, there are a god library, a god chef, a sacrificial pavilion and a bell tower. The south is a clothing hall. Later, the altar disappeared, and only the red walls around it were intact.

Memorial Day mural is located in the center of the altar with a green glazed tile roof. The mural is15m long and 6m high. At the center of the mural is the "Golden Bird" sun god, above which is the flying sky, and below is the grand scene of emperors, ministers and people offering sacrifices to the sun god. On both sides are legends about the sun, such as "Houyi shoots the sun" and "Kuafu chases the sun".

The garment hall is a square courtyard with three main halls in the north and south. There are three auxiliary halls on the left and right sides of the main hall, which run east and west and are surrounded by palace walls. This is the place where the emperor rests and changes clothes.

The southwest scenic spot combines the lakes and mountains of the Jiangnan courtyard with the simple and elegant northern garden scenery. There are nearly 4700 square meters of lakes in the scenic area. There are antique waterside pavilions, painting boats and small garden pavilions by the lake, and the lake is framed by curved bridges and arch bridges.

Walking around the lake, along the winding path to the east, the winding path leads to a secluded place, overlooking the cliff, and the mountains and rivers are integrated.

Yuxin Garden covers an area of 3,000 square meters with pleasant scenery. Passing through the winding garden road, the sycamore tree, DBH 1 m, which is more than 40 years old, is flourishing, like a parasol, bringing coolness to tourists.

In addition, there are pavilions, fountains, flowers and trees in the park, which set each other off. One of the eight famous scenic spots in Yanjing, "Red Sunset on Jintai", can make the ancient altar more simple and elegant.
