First, the establishment background of the alliance

The Internet of Things is the commanding height of the new round of development and competition in the information industry. Developed countries in the world are increasing their investment in this field, trying to take the lead. China has also made the development of the Internet of Things industry a national strategy. Zhongguancun has a good foundation in core technology research and development, sensors, network transmission, cloud computing and industry applications, and collaborative innovation of industry alliances related to the Internet of Things industry, and has achieved many successful demonstration applications in the Olympic Games. However, because the Internet of Things is still in its infancy, it involves a long industrial chain, including sensor networks, information transmission networks and information applications and services. At present, there are still some problems, such as lack of complete technical standard system and mature business model, insufficient industry integration, lack of application integration solutions conducive to industrialization promotion, scattered research power and low industrial concentration, which have become the main bottlenecks restricting the development of Internet of Things technology and industry.

In order to solve these problems and seize the commanding heights of the development of the Internet of Things industry in China and even the whole world, it is necessary to establish an industrial alliance organization combining Industry-University-Research.

With the concern of Beijing leaders and the support of Zhongguancun Management Committee, Beijing Economic and Information Committee and other units, in June 2009 165438+ 10/day, more than 40 organizations with advantages in the upstream and downstream of Zhongguancun Internet of Things industrial chain jointly initiated the establishment of Zhongguancun Internet of Things Industrial Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance (hereinafter referred to as Zhongguancun Internet of Things Industrial Alliance).

Three. Working objectives of the alliance

Through three years' efforts, we will promote the construction of 10- 12 symbolic demonstration application project, cultivate leading enterprises in 8- 10 industry, and form a number of independent intellectual property products, integrated application solutions and more than five national or industry standards. Make Beijing Zhongguancun a high-end characteristic industrial center, application demonstration center, engineering technology research and development center and standard setting center of China Internet of Things.

Fourth, the organizational structure of the alliance.

The Union has a Council, a secretariat and an expert committee. The Council is the highest decision-making body of the alliance, and all member units participate. Under the leadership of the Council, the secretariat is responsible for the daily affairs, project coordination, organization and management of the alliance; The expert committee is composed of well-known engineering and technical experts, entrepreneurs, leaders of relevant industry organizations and sociologists. The Expert Committee is the decision-making advisory body of the Alliance, providing suggestions and guidance on the technical and industrial development direction, key work and major decisions of the Alliance.

Beijing Internet of Things presents a development pattern of long industrial chain and relatively scattered resources. The alliance will promote the cooperation of alliance members, form resource agglomeration in the following five aspects, and increase the industrial advantages of Zhongguancun:

1, in the field of Internet of Things applications, promote a number of major demonstration projects, and promote the maturity and industrial development of integrated application solutions for Internet of Things;

2. Promote the transformation and popularization of the achievements of the mature application projects of the Internet of Things represented by the high-tech Olympic Games project, and expand the market influence of the advantageous enterprises in Zhongguancun;

3. Through the cooperation of Industry-University-Research, design and manufacture high-end sensors and chips in the fields of Internet of Things, network transmission, cloud computing and application, and accelerate the development of industrialization capabilities;

4. Carry out the construction of public platforms related to the Internet of Things, strengthen cooperation with other related industry alliances, and promote collaborative innovation in Industry-University-Research;

5. Create standards related to the Internet of Things, and improve Beijing's leading ability in the development of the Internet of Things industry through standard cooperation.
