Reform Policy of English College Entrance Examination in 2022

In 2022, China will fully implement the new college entrance examination program, and English will be socialized. Candidates can take the exam twice a year, and candidates can take the foreign language exam twice in April and June respectively. The one with high test scores will be counted in the final college entrance examination English score.

English subjects include listening test and written test. The total score of English college entrance examination is the sum of the highest score of the two listening tests and the written test results.

Among them, the listening test is arranged at the end of senior three, which can effectively avoid the influence of bad weather such as lightning on the test. The written test is arranged during the national unified college entrance examination in June.

This reform has alleviated the pressure of candidates to a certain extent, increased the tolerance for multiple examination opportunities and safeguarded the interests of candidates; It is also conducive to strengthening students' listening and speaking ability and improving foreign language teaching's emphasis on language application ability.
