With the continuous development of society, elevator, as a vertical means of transportation, has attracted more and more attention and dependence. The number of elevators in China is increasing by more than 10% every year. At present, the number of elevators in China is about 400,000. Like any means of transportation, elevators save people's time and energy, but they also inevitably bring certain risks. To avoid risks, it is necessary to further strengthen the safety management of elevators. Therefore, the State Council promulgated and implemented the Regulations on Safety Inspection of Special Equipment (Document No.373) on June, 2003, and the State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision promulgated and implemented the Regulations on Elevator Supervision and Inspection on March, 2002, and various provinces and cities also formulated corresponding local regulations, annual inspection reports of elevators and new installation inspection reports. Therefore, I want to talk about my experience in elevator safety management.

1 Establish safety awareness and strengthen maintenance.

First of all, elevators are special equipment, which is prone to personal injury and casualty accidents. Therefore, elevator employees should widely publicize the importance and necessity of safety, firmly establish the idea of "safety first" and always put safety first in their work. Secondly, establish elevator safety management system, such as elevator safety operation procedures, elevator maintenance workflow, elevator overhaul and emergency handling workflow, elevator car rescue procedures, elevator new clothes inspection and annual inspection procedures, operator training and assessment system, technical file management system, etc. Set up corresponding safety management posts, such as elevator maintenance worker, security inspector, safety director, etc. And implement the vertical safety management of "company manager → security inspector → elevator maintenance worker", and implement the safety responsibility system layer by layer to ensure that the responsibility goes to people. Thirdly, do a good job in the daily inspection of elevators, and do daily inspection, weekly inspection, monthly inspection, quarterly inspection and annual inspection as planned.

2. Strengthen safety rectification to ensure safe operation.

According to the Regulations on Elevator Supervision and Inspection newly promulgated by the State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, all provinces and cities should carry out the new installation inspection and annual inspection of elevators according to the new regulations from March 1 2002. Compared with the old regulations, the new regulations have strengthened the performance test and electrical test of the whole elevator, and the number of inspection items has increased to nearly 50, of which nearly half are unqualified. The new regulations put forward stricter requirements for elevator inspection, and some elevators need to undergo the following rectification before reaching the standard. (1) The old hall door has no auxiliary door lock, and the new regulations require the installation of auxiliary door locks; (2) emergency lighting and emergency intercom should be installed in the car; (3) the pit should have a red emergency stop switch and power socket that are not automatically reset; (4) cargo elevator hall door should be equipped with automatic closing device; ⑤ Users should establish equipment files and elevator operation management system. In view of the above problems, the company raised funds by itself, invested more manpower and material resources to carry out item-by-item rectification, and ensured that every elevator passed the annual inspection standard test of the new regulations. Every annual inspection of the elevator is a safety inspection of the operating elevator. Only by passing the annual inspection can the elevator operation certificate be issued. Therefore, we should not only pay attention to the annual inspection, but also standardize the daily maintenance according to the requirements of the annual inspection items, and resolutely rectify the items that do not meet the annual inspection standards until they meet the standards. Some elevator employees have the idea of "emphasizing operation over safety". They think that elevators are safe as long as they run, and they don't pay attention to the pre-repair, pre-inspection and daily maintenance of elevators, the rectification of elevator safety projects, and they don't actively find and discover elevator accidents and safety hazards. This wrong idea will lead to frequent elevator failures and hidden dangers.

3. Strengthen management, publicity and training.

Strengthening the use and management of elevators by owners is also an important link to ensure the safe operation of elevators. The running quality of elevator is closely related to the maintenance level of maintenance unit, the management status of users and the use of passengers. Therefore, it is necessary to do a good job in elevator administrator's knowledge training and passenger's elevator knowledge propaganda. The contents of knowledge training for elevator administrators include: rescue methods for elevator trapped people, elevator start-stop methods, elevator faults and emergency maintenance, elevator parking treatment methods, etc. Administrators should learn to manage elevators according to the above methods, such as opening the hall door to save people when the elevator is trapped, calling for maintenance in time when the elevator fails, opening and stopping the elevator in the office building on time, keeping and lending the elevator keys by special personnel, keeping a good record of elevator maintenance and failure, constantly checking whether the elevator alarm and communication telephone are unblocked, and pressing the emergency stop button to stop the elevator when the escalator is in an emergency. It is necessary to widely publicize the correct knowledge of elevator passengers. For example, children should be accompanied by adults when taking the elevator. It is forbidden to take inflammable and explosive dangerous goods in the elevator. After the goods are submitted for approval, they should be carried by fire exits. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the carriage. When riding the escalator, your feet should stand in the yellow safety frame. When taking the elevator, pets must be held in their hands. In addition, a wall chart of elevator use knowledge is posted in the elevator waiting hall, a "notice for passengers" sign is hung in the car, and collision warning signs and passenger use regulations signs are hung on the escalator. In short, the maintenance unit should do a good job in the daily maintenance of elevators, increase the safety rectification of hidden dangers of elevators, strengthen the use management of elevators by users, guide passengers to use elevators correctly, and all relevant units should strictly implement relevant national standards and regulations, establish a strong sense of safety, and ensure the safe operation of elevators.
