Although he was too cautious in the face of Huang Guangyu, in the eyes of some Gome employees, Zhang Zhiming is an able person who is "good at training, learning from others, with keen eyes and outstanding ability". It is said that Zhang Zhiming is good at listening to everyone's opinions, and he never interrupts anyone's speech when communicating with employees. And his workload is scary. Even so, Zhang Zhiming experienced "five ups and downs" in Gome's frequent personnel adjustments, so that some media reporters didn't bother to remember his position. However, Zhang Zhiming's achievements have also been rewarded: he got a certain share from Huang Guangyu. When Huang Guangyu took charge of Gome again, Zhang Zhiming had accumulated a lot of wealth and resources.

In 2004, Zhang Zhiming became the general manager of Pengrun Real Estate, specifically engaged in the development of "the first city of Gome". It is said that Pengrun Real Estate is a joint venture between Huang Guangyu and Zhang Zhiming, with Huang Guangyu holding. On New Year's Day, 2005, "The First City of Gome" opened for sale, which was a great success and gave Zhang Zhiming a lot of confidence.

Nine months later, Zhang Zhiming established Tomorrow Real Estate and made a public appearance with "Tomorrow's First City". Tomorrow Real Estate is a Zhang Zhiming real estate company with 100% holding. By the end of 2005, 500,000 square meters of residential projects will be developed in lishuiqiao and Changping respectively.
