Letters of commendation usually consist of five parts: title, header, body, ending and signature. Its basic format is as follows:

(1) title

Generally speaking, the title of a letter of commendation consists only of the literary name "Letter of Commendation". The position is in the middle of the first row.

(2) Title

The name of the commendation letter should be written on the top of the head, with the name of the organ, unit, group or individual being praised. Letters of commendation to individuals should be written with "Comrade" and "Sir" after the name, followed by a colon. If you send a commendation letter directly to the airport, unit or group, you don't need to write the recipient at the beginning.

(iii) Text

The content of the text should be written on a new line with two spaces. Generally, the following contents are required.

In general narrative language, it focuses on the occurrence, development, results and significance of characters' deeds. The narrative should be clear, highlight the most essential aspects, let the facts speak for themselves, and talk less about empty truths.

2. Point out the meaning of the behavior.

Evaluate and discuss on the basis of narration, and praise the moral significance of what the person has done. For example, point out what kind of good idea, good fashion and good morality this behavior belongs to.

(4) End

This part should be praised by the other party, or give suggestions to the other unit, hoping to praise XXX. For example, "a comrade's excellent moral character is worth learning, and it is recommended to praise." Letters of commendation written to me should appropriately say "deeply moved" and "worth learning". And asked to write "this salute" and other concluding remarks at the end. But the words "sincerely", "sincerely" and "to you" should be written at the end, and the rest should be written on a new line.

(5) Signature

The signature shall indicate the name of the issuing unit or individual. And indicate the date of writing in the lower right corner.
