Brief introduction of Guangzhou CITIC Building

CiticPlaza is located in Tianhe North Road, Tianhe District, China, covering an area of 23,000 square meters with a total construction area of 290,000 square meters. When 1997 was completed, it was the tallest building in China at that time and the tallest concrete building in the world. It faces tianhe sports center, followed by guangzhou east railway station and Guangzhou subway stations. Excellent geographical location, first-class office, business and living environment. The developer of CITIC Plaza is Hong Kong Xionggu Shell Development (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., which is owned by two listed companies in Hong Kong, Xionggu Group (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. Shell Electric Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. and Gao Rong Trading Co., Ltd. under China Poly Group. Its design, contracted construction and property management are all undertaken by Hong Kong institutions. In September, 2002, the waterscape of the glass-walled waterfall attached to CITIC Plaza was named as one of the eight scenic spots in Yangcheng in the new century, and it was called the floating silk of Tianhe, which further established the status of CITIC Plaza as a landmark building in Guangzhou.
