Organs, organizations, enterprises, institutions and other units shall perform the following fire safety duties:

In accordance with national standards and industry standards, fire control facilities and equipment shall be configured, and fire safety signs shall be set up, and regular inspection and maintenance shall be organized to ensure that they are in good condition and effective.

Article 60 of the Fire Protection Law stipulates:

If a unit violates the provisions of this Law and commits any of the following acts, it shall be ordered to make corrections and be fined between 5,000 yuan and 50,000 yuan:

(a) the configuration and setting of fire control facilities, equipment or fire safety signs do not meet the national standards and industry standards, or are not kept in good condition and effective.

Property management companies will assume management responsibilities. Therefore, the losses caused to residents should also bear certain liability for compensation.
