The difference between Luzhou District and Lucheng City

Changzhi City has four districts, namely Luzhou District, Shangdang District, Tunliu District and Lucheng District.

1. Luzhou District

Luzhou District, which belongs to Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, is located at the eastern edge of Shangdang Basin at the top of Taihang Mountain and beside the Zhanghe River, with a total area of 380.6 square kilometers and a population of 860,000. It is the political, economic, cultural, scientific and technological, information, financial and transportation center of Changzhi City.

2. Shangdang District

Shangdang District, belonging to Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, is located in the southeast of Shanxi, at the west foot of Taihang Mountain and at the south edge of Shangdang Basin. Shangdang District has a long history. As early as 10,000 years ago, human beings flourished. Emperor Yan, the ancestor of the Chinese nation, once founded the country here, tasted grass and taught agriculture and mulberry, and completed the transformation from migration to settlement, from fishing and hunting to farming. 3. Tunliu District

Tunliu District, belonging to Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, is located in the southeast of Shanxi Province and on the west side of Shangdang Basin. Tunliu District has a long history. 4.Lucheng District

Lucheng District belongs to Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, located in the southeast of Shanxi Province, at the west foot of Taihang Mountain, at the northeast edge of Shangdang Basin, 20 kilometers away from Changzhi city center.
