What are the requirements of argon arc welding for welders?

Follow the safe operation procedures of argon arc welding machine:

1. Before working, check whether the equipment and tools are in good condition.

2. Check whether the welding power supply and control system have grounding wires, and add lubricating oil to the transmission part. Ensure normal rotation and smooth argon and water supply. If water leakage is found, it should be repaired immediately.

3. Automatic argon arc welding and all-position argon arc welding must be operated by special personnel.

4. The control buttons of automatic argon arc welding and all-position argon arc welding should not be far away from the arc, so that they can be closed at any time in case of failure.

5. When using high frequency arc ignition, it is necessary to check whether there is leakage.

6. When the equipment fails, it shall be overhauled without power, and the operators shall not repair it by themselves.

7. Bare parts are not allowed to be near the arc, and smoking or eating near the arc is not allowed to avoid inhaling ozone and smoke.

8. When grinding thorium tungsten electrode, you must wear masks and gloves, and abide by the operation procedures of grinding machine. It is best to choose cerium tungsten electrode (less radiation). The grinder must be equipped with an exhaust device.

9. Manual argon arc welding workers should always wear electrostatic dust masks. Minimize the time of high-frequency electric action during operation. Continuous working hours shall not exceed 6 hours.

10. Air circulation must be maintained in the argon arc welding workplace. Start ventilation and detoxification equipment at work. If the ventilation device breaks down, it should stop working.
