Build. As of February 17, 2023, Shenbei New District is coordinating and advancing the northern extension project of Line 2, which is still under construction. The planning and start-up of the light rail loop project will also start at the end of 2023. Shenyang City will also plan a light rail as a connecting line between Line 2 and Line 4, thus forming an inner track ring.
