Up to now, I really haven't met anyone who can keep watching English 10 minutes every day.

In life, we always have something we always want to do, but we just don't stick to it. For example: learning foreign languages, doing sports, writing books, losing weight, learning computers and so on. We have to admit that most people are not strong in willpower. However, willpower is an important guarantee of success. The reason why we can't persist is because our brains have resisted doing such things from the beginning. Doing the same thing all the year round, our brain's first reaction is to escape.

I have been planning to write a book since 2004, but the progress has been slow. The reason is that although I set myself a standard: write more than 2000 words every day, I didn't insist. Finally, one day, I began to reflect on my behavior. I found that I had been avoiding writing books. Every time I think about writing a book, I feel miserable. It's really boring to see yourself crawling around in front of your desk. For me, this is far less harmonious and pleasant than reading a book alone or speaking in front of people. I can hear myself saying to myself, "Isn't it a minute!" Since I have made this decision for myself, no matter how busy I am, even if I am on a business trip to give lectures in other places, I will definitely turn on my laptop and write for one minute before going to bed (in fact, it is often far more than one minute). As a result, my progress in writing a book suddenly accelerated.

When I did this, I found another benefit: my heart became more positive and self-affirming. The original guilt disappeared. I began to believe that I am a person with willpower. I will keep my word.

Imagine that you always want to do what you know you should do, but you don't want to do it, or you repeatedly find excuses to escape. Whether it's losing weight, doing exercise, reading a book, learning a new skill … Now, make a new goal and stick to it for one minute every day. Experience the difference in inner feelings. I believe that I am a person with action and willpower.
