Brief introduction of Shi' an Expressway

Shi 'an Expressway is an important part of the "two vertical and two horizontal" national trunk highways, one of the highway construction projects with the largest loan amount (US$ 240 million) from the World Bank in China, and also the key project started in Hebei Province during the Eighth Five-Year Plan period. Shi 'an Expressway starts from Nangaoying in the northern suburb of Shijiazhuang in the north and reaches Zhicun in Linzhang County, Hebei Province in the south, with a total length of 2 16.05 km. The whole line is built according to the standard of plain and hilly expressway, with two-way and four lanes, with an estimated total investment of 4,645.2 million yuan. The main project started in August 1994, and the whole line was completed and opened to traffic in February 1997.
