1. Shanhaiguan
Shanhaiguan is located 15 kilometers northeast of Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province. It is named because it is between the mountains and the sea. This is the choke point between Northeast China and North China. It is the first pass at the starting point of the Great Wall. It is commonly known as the "No. 1 Pass in the World" along with Tongguan in Shaanxi Province.

4. Youyi Pass
Youyi Pass is located 18 kilometers southwest of Pingxiang City, Guangxi. It was originally called Zhennanguan. It is surrounded by high mountains and deep valleys. It is an important southwest border defense town.
There was originally only a one-story wooden structure corridor on the base of the building. There are two east and west gates in Guancheng, Guanghua Gate in the east and Rouyuan Gate in the west. There is a wide slope horse trail on the north side of Guancheng, leading directly to the top of the city. Outside the east and west gates, there are barbicans. The gate of the barbican opens to the south and is not connected to the main gate of Guancheng. The east barbican gate is called "Chaozong" and the west barbican gate is called "Huiji". More than 10 meters away from the west gate of Wengcheng, there is a rectangular pass, side by side with Guancheng. The gate opens to the west, and three powerful characters "Jiayu Pass" are engraved on the forehead of the gate.
