Ning 'an intercity railway is led from Nanjing South Railway Station, passes through Ma 'anshan East Station, Wuhu New Railway Station, Tongling Station and Chizhou Station, crosses Anqing Yangtze River Railway Bridge and reaches Anqing New Railway Station, with a total length of 257km and a design speed target of 25km/h. CRTSⅠ slab ballastless track slabs are adopted in most sections, and ballast ballast beds are adopted in some sections.
Ning 'an Intercity Railway can be connected with two railways, namely, connecting with Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway through Xianning Railway in Nanjing to form a high-speed railway passage from Anqing to Shanghai, and connecting with Hefu Railway through tie lines in Tongling to form a high-speed railway passage from Anqing New Station to Hefei to Beijing.
