How to apply for the Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Qualification Examination

Hello, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao residents apply for the doctor qualification examination. Please refer to the Notice on Relevant Issues Concerning Taiwan Province, Hongkong and Macao Residents with Mainland Medical Professional Education to Apply for the National Physician Qualification Examination.

The notice is as follows:

All provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, Health Bureau, Chinese Medicine (Medicine) Administration, Public Security Department, Taiwan Affairs Office and Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office:

According to the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Medical Practitioners and relevant laws and regulations, we hereby notify the residents of Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong and Macao who have obtained medical professional qualifications in the Mainland to apply for the national medical qualification examination as follows, please follow them.

First, the mainland medical professional education mentioned in this notice refers to the full-time undergraduate and above education in general medicine in the mainland recognized by the education administrative department of the State Council.

Two, Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong, Macao residents to obtain the professional qualification of mainland doctors, if applying for the national medical qualification examination, should also meet the following conditions:

(a) the major meets the requirements of the qualification examination for doctors in China;

(2) Having received professional training (hereinafter referred to as "internship") required to take the doctor qualification examination in a medical institution in the Mainland for one year after obtaining the required academic qualifications.

Three, Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong, Macao residents can apply to participate in the China Medical Qualification Examination, apply for clinical, Chinese medicine, oral.

Four, Hong Kong and Macao residents in Taiwan Province Province have obtained medical professional qualifications in the mainland, they can apply for internship to the local institutions of higher learning that provide academic education, and fill out the "Taiwan Province Province Hong Kong and Macao residents to participate in the national medical qualification examination internship application review form" (see annex).

Institutions of higher learning that provide medical education for residents of Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong and Macao shall, after receiving the application, examine it in accordance with the relevant provisions. After approval, send a notice of accepting the internship to the applicant.

Residents of Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong and Macao who are allowed to practice should complete the internship for one year in a designated institution.

Five, the mainland institutions that can accept the internship of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao residents must be affiliated hospitals of colleges and universities that provide medical education for Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao residents in the mainland.

Six, Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong and Macao residents during the internship in the mainland, according to the relevant laws and regulations of the mainland management.

Seven, allowed to practice in Taiwan Province Province residents should hold the "notice of internship in colleges and universities", valid documents to and from the mainland of the motherland, to the exit and entry administration department of the public security organ of the city or county where the internship is located for multiple entry and exit endorsements and temporary residence reporting procedures.

Hong Kong and Macao residents who are allowed to practice directly enter and leave the country with valid certificates for traveling to and from the Mainland.

Eight, in accordance with the provisions of Article 1 and Article 2 of this notice, residents of Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong and Macao who apply to take the China Medical Qualification Examination shall, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Medical Practitioners and the Interim Measures for the Examination of Medical Qualification promulgated by the Ministry of Health, register at the office of the Medical Qualification Examination Center where the internship institution is located within the time limit stipulated in the announcement, and submit relevant materials. After examination, those who meet the registration conditions will be issued an admission ticket by the test center.

Nine, Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong and Macao residents who have obtained the National Physician Qualification Examination Admission Ticket can participate in the National Physician Qualification Examination.

Those who pass the examination shall be granted the qualification of doctors according to the regulations, and the provincial health administrative department shall issue the "Qualification Certificate of Doctors" uniformly printed by the Ministry of Health.

10. Residents of Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong and Macau who took the China Medical Qualification Examination but failed to pass the examination, who need to practice again in accordance with relevant regulations, shall re-apply for internship in accordance with the requirements of this circular.

Residents of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao who obtained medical professional qualifications in the mainland before the promulgation of this notice may apply for taking the national medical qualification examination if they have received professional training for one year in the affiliated hospitals of institutions of higher learning that provide medical vocational education for residents of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao in the mainland.

Twelve, starting from the registration of China Medical Qualification Examination in 2002, accept applications from residents of Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong and Macao who meet the requirements stipulated in this notice to participate in the China Medical Qualification Examination.
