Cold upsetting process

(1) According to the theory of metal plastic deformation, a certain pressure is applied to the metal blank at room temperature to make it plastically deform in the mold cavity, so that the metal blank can be shaped according to the specified shape and size.

(2) High-quality metal materials with good plastic deformation, such as riveted rebar, must be selected, and their chemical composition and mechanical properties have strict standards.

(4) The product has large upsetting force, large configuration power and large investment in disposable equipment. Therefore, the production specifications below M24 are the most economical.

(5) Good surface quality and high dimensional accuracy. Because there is cold working hardening during upsetting, the deformation should not be too large. Reduce cracking.

Safety operation procedures of cold heading machine

1. It is forbidden to wear gloves to operate the cold heading machine.

2. Before driving, be sure to carefully check whether the fasteners of the equipment are locked and whether the safety protection devices are in good condition. Always check them at work to prevent them from loosening due to violent vibration and causing accidents.

3. After the equipment is adjusted, first pull the flywheel to check whether each mechanism works normally, and then remove the lever of the wrench car before starting the motor. It is forbidden to start the motor when pulling the car.

4. All faults should be eliminated before starting the machine, and the trial upsetting can only be carried out after a short time-space turn.

5. When the equipment is running, the operator should stand in a safe position. It is forbidden to pick up the workpiece at the concave-convex die, and the product can only be viewed at the lower end.

6. When replacing products, you must carefully adjust the die and punch, and carefully check whether all parts are normal.

7. In the production process, in case of failure, stop the machine immediately, find out the reason and eliminate hidden dangers. When the brakes fail, it is forbidden to drive.

8. Safety plates (safety rods) must be equipped with protective devices to avoid breakage and accidents. All protective devices shall not be disassembled or lost at will.
