Production technology of polyester monofilament

The main production processes of polyester monofilament mainly include one-step production process and two-step production process. Among them, high-speed spinning and high-speed drawing and twisting technology are typical two-step process routes, which are the most widely used process routes for producing polyester monofilaments at present. Its characteristics are short process flow and high production efficiency. The spinning speed of high-speed spinning is 3000 ~ 600 m/min, and it can be made into POY. At high winding speed, the fibers are oriented to a certain extent and the structure is relatively stable. Drawing and twisting is an essential process in the production of polyester monofilament, which is called secondary forming. Stretching makes the structural unit of the fiber obtain stable and stable orientation, thus achieving the purpose of improving the physical and mechanical properties of the finished fiber.

The process of producing polyester monofilaments by one-step method adopts spinnerets with holes of 8, 10 or 12, and the processes of spinning, drawing orientation of as-spun fibers, fiber heat setting and winding are completed at one time on the same machine, and monofilaments are obtained on the wound silk cake. The wound monofilament cake is separated by a separator to obtain polyester monofilament fibers.
