The governing body of the Library of Congress.

The duty of the U.S. Congress Pavilion is to use its collection resources to serve Congress and the American people, so it is one of its main functions to collect and preserve collections that record human knowledge and creativity for future generations. The director of the Library of Congress is appointed by the President, and the Senate votes to hold office for life. The marble wall on the side of Jefferson Building is engraved with the names of the previous curators, which reflects the respect of American society for librarians and the importance attached to the cause of libraries.

The Library of Congress has a huge organization and complex system. Its main business unit can be divided into six departments: (1) Reference and Consultation Center for Congress, government, academia and ordinary readers; (2) International Exchange and International Loan Center; (3) the center of the national catalogue; (4) Government publications and United Nations information collection centers; (5) Inter-library cooperation centers at home and abroad; (6) Library Science Research Center.

1. Congressional Research Service:

Its administrative departments are: ① Finance Office, ② Information Resource Management Office, ③ Policy and Quality Assurance Office, ④ Research Operation Office and ⑤ Labor Development Office;

2. Copyright Bureau: there are two copyright registration directors and two deputy registrars of copyright legal education. Under their leadership, there are:

2. The Copyright Operation Management and Automation Division consists of ① Cataloging Division, ② Examination Division, ③ Information Reference Division, ④ Certification Division and ⑤ Record Processing Division;
