Weifang Binhai Economic and Technological Development Zone was established in August 1995, located in the northern Shandong Peninsula of China and the south bank of Laizhou Bay in Bohai Sea. It is a provincial development zone approved by Shandong Provincial People's Government and National Development and Reform Commission. On April 20 10, it was officially approved as a national economic and technological development zone.
