Since 2020, Guangxi Admissions Examination Institute will no longer organize the implementation of open recruitment examinations for primary and secondary school teachers. In addition to the separate recruitment examinations in Guangxi cities, teachers from all cities participate in the D-class (teacher post) joint examination of state institutions. The examination subjects are comprehensive application ability (Class D) and professional aptitude test (Class D).

Guangxi teacher recruitment unified examination: The original Guangxi teacher recruitment unified examination subjects include pedagogy, basic knowledge of teaching methods and basic knowledge of educational psychology and moral education, with full marks of 100. The examination contents mainly involve pedagogy, educational psychology, teaching methods and basic knowledge of moral education. The types of questions are mainly divided into single choice, multiple choice, judgment and material analysis.

Examination situation of institutions in Guangxi (Class D): The subjects of Class D examination in institutions are two subjects, namely, vocational aptitude test (Class D) and comprehensive application ability (Class D). Among them, vocational aptitude test (Class D) is an objective question, and comprehensive application ability (Class D) is a subjective question, so the examination content is more complicated.

Vocational aptitude test (Class D) includes common sense judgment, speech use, judgment reasoning, quantitative analysis and strategy selection, with a score of 100. In these examinations, less than 25% belong to educational knowledge, which will be concentrated in common sense judgment and strategic multiple-choice questions, and the remaining 75% are consistent with civil servants' examination questions and belong to non-educational knowledge.

Comprehensive application ability (Class D) mainly includes analysis questions, case analysis questions and activity design questions, and the score is 150. The contents of this subject examination are all educational knowledge, which is consistent with the original unified examination in Guangxi.
