Briefly talk about the manufacturing process of the box.

The process of making gift boxes is much more complicated than that of folding boxes. After processing, the folding box usually carries out printing surface treatment (hot stamping, silver plating, lamination, ultraviolet ray, embossing, etc.). )-die cutting-box pasting-inspection-packaging.

The production process of the gift box is completed by printing, surface treatment, die-cutting of external materials, die-cutting of grey board, slotting of grey board, forming of grey board, sticking of external materials, assembly, inspection and packaging. Judging from the technology of the two products, the production technology of the gift box is complicated, and the technology standard is much higher than that of the folding box.

In our daily life, most high-end gift boxes are wrapped in paper, and the surface of paper is also the most suitable for multi-process treatment, so the following describes the process with paper as the fabric.

1. Paper selection

According to the design requirements of customer documents and the effect to be reflected, the choice of paper is very important. The main considerations in this regard are: the types of paper, such as coated paper, coated paper, pearl paper and so on. The thickness of the paper. Paper should not be too thick. It is easy to wrinkle when pasting, but it should not be too thin. Consider surface decoration.

2. Surface decoration

Surface decoration technology is very important, the most common is offset printing, and then on this basis, various technologies are: ① reverse glazing; (2) Coating (light film, dumb film, tactile film, scratch-resistant film, etc.). ); 3 bronzing (gold, red gold, lottery gold, silver, laser, etc. ); (4) local scraping UV oil or screen printing ink; ⑤ Special colored powder; 6 exciting; ⑦ embossing, etc.

Choose gray cardboard.

Grey board paper, also known as grey card, is made of a kind of recycled waste paper. Mainly divided into single ash, double ash, full ash and high gloss, depending on the customer's requirements for surface finish. It belongs to environmental protection packaging materials, with the quantity ranging from 250 g to 10000 g and the thickness ranging from 0.4 mm to 20 mm, and there is no upper limit on the thickness and quantity. Usually, the gray board with appropriate specifications is selected according to the size of the box.

Step 4: Punching

Die cutting is a very important part in this process. The special gift box and die-cutting technology require high precision and accuracy of product quality, and a slight error will directly affect the subsequent processing quality.

Step 5 Slot

Grooving is to discharge a V-shaped groove on the gray board with a grooving machine, the thickness is 1~4MM, and the connecting layer is generally about 0.25 mm The angle of the V-shaped groove is 90 degrees, generally 120 degrees, or V-shaped grooves with different angles are formed according to the product structure.

Slotting is a key step in making gift boxes. Before the gray board is formed, it must be V-shaped to eliminate the gray board, so that the gray board is curved, straight outside and straight inside, angular and accurate in four corners.

paste

It is a necessary process of photo frame and gift box technology. According to the requirements of different products, it is bonded with paper, coated paper, wool, leather glue or glue, and closely bonded with the gray board, so that the surface of the gray board is completely new, which not only beautifies the appearance of the box, but also improves the added value of the box.

Usually, the packaging box is a die-cutting box, and only paper gift boxes can be die-cut after installation. The purpose of this is: first, I am afraid that the outsourcing materials will be dirty and affect the appearance; The second is the harmony of the overall effect of the gift box. After installation, the supporting body can be completely covered, and the gray board can be wrapped with novel design outsourcing materials, presenting us with a gorgeous artwork. Thirdly, some boxes with complex structures are still inseparable from manual pasting. It is not that machines cannot replace them, but that every detail of the boxes is manually pasted in place, so that the external installation paper and the gray board can be pasted more closely.

Name of quality defect

In the process of making gift boxes, there are many operation steps. The control of each step is the key to the quality of the box. Quality depends on the quality of process control.

In this process, the quality of each process hides risks. These risks are not due to imperfect process design or equipment performance, but mostly due to operators' poor quality awareness, uneven skill level and lax process control, which often leads to quality loopholes. These are the biggest enemy gift boxes with stable quality. This is particularly important.

The most common defects or quality control points are:

1. Loose edges: after the paper is pasted, there is loose adhesion and hanging between the paper and the gray board at the four sides of the box.

2. Wrinkling: after pasting, irregular dead folds with different lengths are formed on the paper.

3. Broken corner: the paper is damaged, and the four corners of the box are exposed after pasting.

4. Exposed ash (exposed bottom): The laminated position of the pasted paper after folding is dislocated due to the inaccurate manufacture of the knife board or the positioning deviation during pasting operation, which leads to the exposed ash board.

5. Bubbles: There are irregular local bulges on the surface of the box and bubbles of different sizes.

6. Glue stains: traces of glue left on the surface.

7. Protrusion (acne): There are granular substances left in the lower layer of the packaging material, which will partially support the surface and destroy the flatness of the box surface.

8. Height angle: After the gray board is die-cut or slotted and half-punched, the four sides are folded and formed, and the heights of the adjacent two sides are inconsistent.

9. Water ripple: After the box is pasted, the four sides of the box need to be leveled with a scraper in order to make the corners more tightly bonded. Because of the irregular stress, there will be strips or small bubbles of different lengths and depths on the whole surface, which seems to be water ripples.
