How to remove the double-sided tape stuck on the blackboard?

1, use a hair dryer. Heat the double-sided adhesive tape to weaken its stickiness. Connect the hair dryer to a nearby power outlet, and then blow it directly against the double-sided adhesive tape for a few minutes with a high temperature gear. Then remove the double-sided tape by hand or putty knife. In addition, you can also use a steam ironing machine or an electric iron to heat the double-sided tape. Because water vapor will help melt the adhesive.

2. Use WD40, alcohol for external use or GooGone cleaner. WD40 or other special cleaning products, such as GooGone or GoofOff, can be sprayed on the double-sided tape. Alternatively, soak the rag in alcohol for external use (even acetone nail polish cleaner can be used) and then press it on the adhesive tape for-to two minutes. But the solvent is on the tape. After a minute or two, carefully scrape off the tape with a putty knife (or the edge of the credit card).

Step 3 use adhesive tape. Heat the double-sided adhesive tape with a hair dryer, and then stick masking paper on it (please grab the corner of masking paper). Tear off the tape on the wall. If you are lucky, I can help you remove the double-sided tape. You may need to repeat this operation several times (using a new masking tape each time) to completely remove the double-sided adhesive tape.

4. Use fishing line or dental floss. This method is most suitable for double-sided sponge tape, which is more tightly attached than ordinary tape. Tighten a fishing line or floss with both hands. First, put the thread on the tape. Then tighten the line behind the wall to make it close to the wall. This method should be able to remove most of the tape from the wall. Then use a small amount of soapy water or WD40 residual tape to remove it.

5. Use tap water, dishwashing detergent or white vinegar. Some double-sided tapes can be wiped off with soap, tap water or vinegar. This method is the safest if you are worried about paint damage. In a plastic basin, mix hot water, dishwashing liquid and a little white vinegar. Stir constantly until it is evenly mixed and produces foam. Put the towel in foamed water, and then carefully scrub the double-sided adhesive tape with the towel until its edge is rolled up. Then scrape the tape off the wall by hand or with a plastic scraper.

6. Use a magic eraser. When most of the tape is removed (using any of the above methods), you can use the magic eraser to remove the remaining tape. The principle of magic wipe is the same as that of very fine sandpaper, which can remove the residual sporadic adhesive tape. You can buy magic brushes in supermarkets, household goods stores and online, which can be used to clean various surfaces.
