Take my present company as an example. Many HR colleagues in Fortune 500 companies study psychology, and human resources job hunting still agrees with the professionalism of psychology students.

Generally speaking, the overall employment prospect of psychology is 10 million times better than when I was an undergraduate in 2009. At that time, my brothers and sisters didn't know what to do except be teachers. At that time, even human resources work was not recognized as a psychology major.

Now, the master of applied psychology has the following directions:

First, the university psychology teacher. It can be a teaching teacher or a research teacher in a psychological center. The demand is still quite large. What I know is that in Jiangxi Province, psychological teachers in colleges and universities were contracted by my alma mater.

The second is the psychological teacher in primary and secondary schools. This employment direction is more popular in developed coastal areas, and the salary is also good.

The third is human resources work. At present, the work of human resources in enterprises is relatively recognized by psychology, and the set of thinking about human work in psychology is more suitable for human resources than graduate students in enterprise management.

The third is user experience work. Practical research work, applied psychology of Zhejiang University, Peking University and Beijing Normal University joined the Internet practical research work of major companies in first-tier cities in batches. Of course, there are not many employment opportunities in third-tier cities.

The fourth is the consulting company. Including human resources consulting, market consulting companies, such as Mercer, CIIC, etc.

Fifth, educational institutions. There will be various training institutions and special education institutions, such as autism and special schools.
