Handling documents: For example, if the customer entrusts the freight forwarding company to arrange container loading after the shipping company releases the container, then the field needs to take the S/O (manifest loading) to the shipping agent, and the shipping agent will give the container lifting paper to the driver to pick up the container at the dock. After the container number is available, it needs to be re-fed to the dock for re-entry.

wharf loading supervision: if the customer entrusts the loading in the wharf, the field workers generally need to go to the wharf to supervise the loading of containers, check the quantity and packaging of goods, and take photos for the customer.

document delivery: if the company has customs declaration business, after the customs declarer arranges customs declaration and release, the field needs to go to the shipping agency to deliver the release document.

inspection: in case of customs declaration inspection, the field needs to go to the customs office to get the inspection notice, and cooperate with the customs on-site inspection at the dock.

if you work in the dock, you mainly do the above work. Of course, if the company has a large business volume, you may occasionally arrange to go to the shipping company to get the original bill of lading and the dock to get the bill and other chores.
