I want to study abroad and go to a better university, but what if the GPA is very low?

GPA (average grade point average) refers to the average grade point average. It's true that you can't apply for any famous universities with a low GPA, but studying abroad is not limited to famous universities.

Overseas, unlike China, the quality of a school is not simply judged by GPA. Every overseas university has its own areas of expertise. Maybe the school you go to is not the top 100 school in the world, but the specialty of your school is better than other schools.

For example, UTS (Sydney University of Technology) in Sydney is a school with low requirements for GPA and IELTS scores, while USYD (University of Sydney) is a school with high requirements for IELTS scores and gaps. The University of Sydney ranks 37th in the world. Objectively speaking, USYD is much better than UTS. However, local companies in Sydney prefer to hire UTS students when recruiting personnel. Because UTS students are better at applying what they have learned in their daily work, while USYD students are better at theoretical analysis.

Therefore, the GPA is low and some world-renowned universities are not selected, which is not the key issue.

Since we have chosen to study abroad, we should let go of China's traditional educational thought.

What you should consider is how to apply what you have learned, not how to get into a famous university.
