1, PLA Naval Command College

The Naval Medical University was founded in September 1949, when it was called People's Medical College of East China Military Region. It is mainly composed of East China Medical Cadre School, the Medical College of the Ministry of Health of the Third Field Army, the former National Defense Medical College of the Kuomintang and some experts and professors recruited from local areas.
