Supervise and support the political and legal departments to independently exercise their functions and powers according to law, supervise and guide the political and legal organs to implement relevant system provisions, guide, coordinate and supervise major issues or cases that affect the overall situation of security and stability according to law, coordinate case evaluation and law enforcement inspection, and accept complaints from political and legal police officers about violations of law and discipline. To study and formulate measures to strengthen the construction of political and legal teams and leading bodies, assist the district party committee and the organization department of the district party committee in inspecting and managing political and legal cadres, and assist the Commission for Discipline Inspection in building a clean and honest party style and handling cases of violation of laws and regulations. Organize political and legal organs to carry out investigation and study, sum up work experience, solve new problems, explore the reform of political and legal work, and further strengthen leadership over political and legal work through reform. Complete other tasks assigned by the district Committee and superior leaders.

What are the main responsibilities of the Office of the District Social Management Comprehensive Management Committee (hereinafter referred to as the District Comprehensive Management Office)?

1. Investigate and study the major issues of comprehensive management in the whole region and put forward work suggestions.

2. Organize, coordinate, supervise and inspect the comprehensive management work of towns (streets) and comprehensive management member units, summarize and promote the experience and practice of comprehensive management, safe construction and convenient service, and promote the development of comprehensive management work in the whole region.

3. Establish and improve the working mechanism for the investigation and resolution of contradictions and disputes, improve the working network, and establish the working mechanism of "three-adjustment linkage" to promote the timely and effective resolution of contradictions and disputes.

4. Complete other tasks assigned by the district committee, district comprehensive management committee and higher authorities.
