APS review:
APS review is the only way to study in Germany. The purpose of the review is to prove the application for study abroad. The application materials submitted by the applicant are authentic and their academic performance at a Chinese university is sufficient to apply for a German university. When the applicant passes the material review and participates in the review interview or TestAS test, he or she can obtain the review certificate. This certificate is one of the prerequisites for German universities to admit Chinese students. Currently, academic qualifications from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan do not need to be reviewed.
The review procedures for studying in Germany are mainly divided into: general domestic applicant procedures, short-term exchange review procedures, exchange and cooperation group review procedures, material review procedures, and pure art review procedures.
As the name suggests, the pure arts review process is applicable to current students or graduate applicants in pure arts majors (such as piano, dance, painting, etc.), while students majoring in art design and art-related education can only go through the "general domestic applicant process" ”, which is also the most common type of review process. It mainly has two methods: TestAS ethics examination and APS audit interview.
l?Test AS German Suitability Test
It is used to check whether students have the necessary cognitive abilities to study in Germany. The test is a written test composed of three parts: Language test , core test and professional thinking ability test. The exam can be taken in German or English. It is held twice a year globally and there are three examination centers in China: Beijing, Shanghai, and Qingdao.
Test AS exam is only applicable to Chinese undergraduate students who do not have the grades of six semesters (four-year system) or eight semesters (five-year system).
Applicants for Test AS:
a. Domestic 211 universities: current students who have completed the first semester and have not yet completed the sixth semester;
b. Domestic non-211 universities: current students who have completed 3 semesters and have not yet completed the 6th semester.
l?APS audit interview:
Those who are not qualified to take the Test AS exam will generally be interviewed by the APS audit department. It should be noted that applicants who are unable to take the ethics examination can be transferred to the general domestic applicant interview process, but applicants who are in the general domestic interview process are not allowed to transfer to the ethics examination.
It mainly checks whether the applicant really has professional knowledge and whether he has really studied the courses indicated on the transcript. From this perspective, the review interview is neither a professional assessment nor a language test. The interview covers the applicant's major and specific courses of study. Applicants do not need to recall all the knowledge they have learned, but they still need to prove that they have studied the courses listed on their transcripts, can specifically describe the content of the professional courses they have studied, and can apply or demonstrate what they have learned.
Applicants for the APS review interview:
a.? Undergraduate students from mainland China universities who have completed the 6th semester;
b.? Universities in mainland China Graduated undergraduate students;
c.?Graduates of three-year junior college programs from universities in mainland China;
d.?Those who have obtained a bachelor's degree from adult education, self-study examinations, or military academies graduate.
Gao Fan’s warm reminder: Applicants need to choose the corresponding review department according to their jurisdiction, submit materials and collect fingerprints. Applicants from Shenyang, Guangzhou and Chengdu must have their fingerprints collected at the consulates in their respective jurisdictions. The specific time for fingerprint collection will be informed to the applicant on the day of application. Applicants from Shenyang, Guangzhou and Chengdu jurisdictions can also directly make an appointment for a visa submission date at their respective consulates and have their fingerprints collected on the spot.
When you occasionally feel bored with life in Germany, go and see the cute deer. Location: Rennbahnstra?e 60, 40629. Take Ubahn to the center of Düsseldorf for about 15 minutes. After getting off, you still need to walk for 15-20 minutes.
Food to feed deer: You can buy carrots and apples to feed deer in the supermarket. The advantage is that they are cheap (buy thin carrots that are too thick and are not suitable for deer to eat and may choke the deer). Try to break them into small pieces when feeding. You can buy food for animals in the park, one small cup for one euro. Other animals: in addition to deer of all ages, there are also cute squirrels
