Suning headquarters address

In the face of recent reports that "Suning will move its headquarters to Shanghai", yesterday (July 31, 2006) afternoon, Gome Chairman Huang Guangyu and Yongle Chairman Chen Xiao said that Suning's previous headquarters was located in Nanjing. It has been receiving strong support from the local government in Nanjing. Therefore, the idea that Suning's headquarters will be moved to Shanghai is just Suning's self-hype and is absolutely impossible.

Faced with Huang Guangyu and Chen Xiao’s claims, Suning sent a statement to China Business News at 19:00. The statement said: Suning’s Shanghai headquarters office location has been selected in Zhongshan Park. Zhaofeng Digital Plaza, the current property lease contract has been signed; the first batch of more than 20 Shanghai headquarters preparatory team members sent from Nanjing arrived in Shanghai last weekend to start work; the personnel recruitment work to establish the Shanghai headquarters has begun, and the first phase of advertising will be today (August 1, 2006) Officially published in the newspaper.

Sun Weimin, President of Suning, told reporters that in October last year, Suning completed the organizational split of its Nanjing headquarters and established a procurement headquarters, investment headquarters, service headquarters and management headquarters. In the near future, among Suning's four major headquarters, "all departments of the investment headquarters" and "part of the procurement headquarters" will be moved to Shanghai.

Sun Weimin said that in April this year, Suning’s information system with an investment of 80 million yuan was officially launched, laying the information foundation for the split of the headquarters. From now on, the split of Suning's headquarters has entered a breakthrough stage - the stage of physical split and personnel split. The establishment of the Shanghai headquarters has become the first focus of strategic advancement.

Sun Weimin revealed that after Gome announced the acquisition of Yongle, more than 10 Yongle management employees in the Shanghai area had come to Suning for interviews within a week. The future employees of Suning’s Shanghai headquarters will be mainly Shanghai employees, and in the near future, more than 10 managers from Yongle have come to Suning for interviews. The salary standard of Suning's Shanghai headquarters will be adjusted. It is expected that the adjusted salary standard will increase by 20 to 30% compared with domestic peers.
