Baoshan Zhiyuan Primary School (formerly known as: Zhiyuan Primary School Affiliated to Baoshan No. 1 Middle School) is a private school built in September 2017. When the school was founded, it was jointly run by Baoshan Yongchang Investment and Development (Group) Co., Ltd. and Baoshan No. 1 Middle School. In the early days of its establishment, Baoshan No. 1 Middle School sent 12 volunteer teachers, and the remaining teachers were recruited from the public. In July 2020, the Baoshan Municipal Education and Sports Bureau rationalized the school-running mechanism of private schools. Baoshan Yongchang Investment and Development (Group) Co., Ltd. and Baoshan No. 1 Middle School terminated their cooperative school-running relationship. In August 2020, all the supporting teachers dispatched by Baoshan No. 1 Middle School Returning to Baoshan No. 1 Middle School, the Zhiyuan Primary School affiliated with Baoshan No. 1 Middle School was renamed Baoshan Zhiyuan Primary School
