Jiangsu Health Vocational College is a provincial-level public full-time medical and health college and a provincial-level demonstration higher vocational college in Jiangsu Province. With a history of more than 80 years, it belongs to Jiangsu Provincial Health and Wellness Committee. The school has three campuses: Hanzhong Road Campus, Fenghuang West Street Campus and Pukou Campus. The school has four affiliated hospitals, including Jiangsu Provincial Hospital, Nanjing Gaochun People's Hospital, Nanjing Pukou Central Hospital and Jiangsu Folk Rehabilitation Hospital.

There are more than 800 full-time and part-time teachers, of which 45.9% are teachers with senior titles, 60% are masters and doctors, and more than 90% are "double-qualified" teachers.
