All-France Federation of study abroad groups helps Jinan attract overseas talents to start businesses.

According to the China Scholar, on March 6, 21, the main leaders and members of the All-France Federation of Study Abroad Groups were invited to attend the Paris Promotion Fair for Introducing Overseas Talents in Jinan and signed a cooperation agreement with Jinan to set up a liaison office for overseas talents in Jinan.

The members of the delegation for introducing overseas talents in Jinan are Mr. Xu Xuewu, vice mayor of Jinan, and the responsible persons of Jinan Personnel Bureau, Finance Bureau, Science and Technology Bureau, Qilu Bank, Inspur Group and Linuo Group, and Mr. Dai Tianhua, First Secretary of the Education Department of the French Embassy in China, and Mr. Qiusheng Zeng, First Secretary of the Science and Technology Department of the French Embassy. The meeting was held in the multi-function hall of China Cultural Center. Mr. Feng Guangwen, Director of Jinan Science and Technology Bureau, presided over the meeting. Professor Li Hao, Secretary-General of the All-France Federation of Overseas Students' Associations, and heads of associations affiliated to the Federation also attended the meeting.

Mr. Xu Xuewu, vice mayor of Jinan, introduced the general situation of Jinan and the talent introduction plan. He emphasized that overseas students are an important part of China's talent composition, and Shandong Province has always attached importance to introducing overseas people to work in Shandong. In order to increase the introduction of high-level talents, in recent years, the CPC Jinan Municipal Committee and the Jinan Municipal People's Government have successively issued Opinions on Further Strengthening the Introduction of High-level Talents at Home and Abroad (J.F. [29] No.5), Regulations on the Introduction of High-level Talents at Home and Abroad in Jinan City (J.F. [29] No.13) and Measures for Encouraging the Introduction of High-level Talents at Home and Abroad in Jinan City.

Mr. Dai Tianhua, First Secretary of the Education Department of the Embassy of China in France and head of the overseas students management team, extended a warm welcome to the Jinan delegation on behalf of the Education Department of the Embassy at the meeting. He briefly introduced the general situation and characteristics of overseas students studying in France. As the administrative organ of overseas students studying in France, the Education Department of the Embassy strongly supports overseas students to join the tide of returning to China to start their own businesses and serve the country in various ways.

Professor Zhang Yong Min, the representative of scholars studying in France and the executive chairman of the All-France Federation of Overseas Students' Associations, gave a speech as the representative of scholars studying in France. He said that almost all the members of the Federation are studying in France, those who continue to work in France after completing their studies, and those who are studying in China for academic visits and further studies in France. As the most representative and authoritative organization of China scholars studying in France, the Federation, with its extensive network of contacts with domestic units and institutions, actively bridges the gap between Chinese scholars studying in France and serving their country, and organizes Chinese scholars studying in France to participate in the construction service activities of the western part of the motherland, the Guangzhou Science and Technology Exchange Conference for overseas students in China, the "Tianjin National Commodity Fair and Investment Fair" in China and other overseas students' entrepreneurial activities. The Federation warmly receives delegations from all over the world who come to France to recruit talents, and is willing to do its best to recommend suitable candidates for them, and strive to broaden the opportunities and channels for French scholars to return to China for development and service.

Subsequently, Director Zhang Weiguo of the Talent Department of the Organization Department of Jinan Municipal Committee and Professor Zhang Yong Min, Executive Chairman of the All-France Federation of Overseas Students in China, signed an agreement to set up a liaison office for Jinan overseas talents in Paris in the All-France Federation of Overseas Students in China, and Mr. Xu Xuewu, Vice Mayor of Jinan, awarded the license to the liaison office. The main functions of the overseas talent liaison office include: publicizing Jinan's overseas talent policy to overseas; Send back the relevant information of overseas talents to Jinan; Build a bridge of communication; Undertake overseas recruitment and other activities in Jinan.

It is reported that seven doctors studying in France, including Li Zheng, Liu Yuan and Song Zhiguo, have signed letters of intent for cooperation with Jinan.
