CCTV Audio-visual Library is the largest world-class audio-visual content database in Asia. At present, it has film material 1 10,000 hours, standard definition video material10.5 million hours, high definition video material 90,000 hours and audio material10.7 million hours. Since its establishment in 2003, the library has independently developed and built a first-class and world-leading media asset management system integrating digital storage, processing, repair, management and application of program materials by using advanced technology and management concepts, and realized the permanent, high-quality and attenuation-free digital preservation of audio and video materials stored in various media such as movies, tapes and hard disks. After 10 years of large-scale digital processing, 920,000 hours of program data have been formed, which is the largest video and audio database of program data in the world.
