What kind of job is a part-time admissions agent? What exactly is the work to be done?

They are informal employees recruited by various education and training institutions, responsible for promoting the enrollment of various campuses (or society). The competition for students is fierce but there are not enough regular employees, so we recruit part-time staff and go to the responsible areas/schools to persuade students to apply. Most of the income is commission (the more you recruit, the higher the income)
