To be close to life and serve the people, Taiwan has embarked on a new path of professionalizing radio programs and industrializing career development. In order to better adapt to the needs of reform and opening up, in 1994, Yantai Radio, with the support of China Radio International, established the International Radio Yantai Reporter Station, which broadcasts a 30-minute Chinese special program "Pearl of the Yellow Sea - Yantai, China" every week. 450 issues have been broadcast, and a large number of manuscripts are broadcast to the world in 43 languages. Yantai Radio ranks among the top prefecture-level and municipal radio stations in the country in terms of the number of articles published by China National Radio and China Radio International every year, and has won the first prize for collective journalists at provincial stations for six consecutive years. Yantai Radio relies on media such as CCTV, International Radio, and Provincial Radio, and relies on the advantages of broadcast media to promote Yantai nationwide and to the world.

At present, the five channels of News Comprehensive Channel, Economic and Life Channel, and Transportation and Arts Channel are Yantai’s comprehensive communication media integrating news publicity, economy, culture, and information entertainment.
