Wujiaochang is located in Yangpu District, Shanghai.

The full name "Jiangwan-Wujiaochang" is one of the sub-centers of Shanghai's four major cities, and its southern plot is one of Shanghai's top ten commercial centers. It is named after the intersection of Handan Road, siping road Road, Huangxing Road, Xiangyin Road and Songhu Road in the northeast corner of Shanghai. Wujiaochang was originally planned as the "Great Shanghai Plan" implemented by Nanjing government during the Republic of China to break the monopoly of Shanghai Concession on the city center.
