I am a junior now, majoring in electrical engineering and automation. I want to find an internship in a power supply bureau in my senior year. I don't know how to contact the power supply bureau.

After working for half a year, it's time to find a job again. Let me write some experiences when I was looking for a job for reference, just for my personal views and my own views on the development of the whole industry after I really set foot in this industry.

Generally speaking, since the national power shortage in 2000, power generation has become a very hot industry, and the high income brought by its profits has aroused strong pk in society. When it will catch fire depends on the national policy (after all, this is an industry that a country must monopolize). Of course, such state-owned enterprises have caused the growth of related households in the whole society. Because the number of children and related households is different every year, I have to find a job of generating electricity every year. Therefore, the first thing for power generation to apply for a job is to find out the market this year (including how many people are planned to enroll this year, how many places are approved by the State Grid, how many children there are, and how many related households there are ... Remember: children have unlimited priority). Know yourself and yourself.

Let's talk about undergraduates first: I'm not sure about the employment situation of undergraduates, so I just want to say my understanding:

Generally speaking, it is also a good choice for undergraduates to enter the power plant. After all, the annual income of power plants is about 10W, but it may be in a remote location (just to save money), and now power plants are basically controlled by five major power generation companies. If they mix well, they will probably mention the headquarters of the power generation company. For example, Guangdong Nuclear Power Group is rich, all units are at full capacity (not participating in system peak shaving), and more than 99% of the electricity is sold to Hong Kong at a high price (high electricity price). Recently, it has just signed a technology contract worth billions of dollars with France.

In addition to power generation companies, there are many foreign companies to choose from, such as abb and GE, and some state-owned enterprises, such as Dongfang Electric and Nanrui. Nanrui is still a very cattle enterprise. At present, many domestic electrical equipment are products of Nanrui, and there are very few enterprises that can compete with Nanrui in many fields. For example, many projects do not need bidding (because only one can reach this level), but the separation of Nanjing Nanrui and Shenzhen Nanrui Technology has become a competitive trend. I have been to Shenzhen Nanrui Technology, located in Shenzhen Science Park, and the office environment is still good. Nearly half of the huge office space is empty.

Let's talk about the graduation of power generation graduate students in detail:

First of all, the choice of power generation graduate students is actually very narrow, including: municipal power supply bureau, design institute, pilot institute and dispatching center.

1: Municipal Power Supply Bureau: I remember when I was looking for a job, the party secretary of a municipal power supply bureau told me that it was actually a loss to go to the municipal power supply bureau after graduation, because the work of the power supply bureau was simple and easy, with no technical content, and it was not easy to move from the sub-bureau to the headquarters of the municipal bureau. It depends on your life and communication skills. Your technical level is useless here. So when looking for a job, you can find that many power supply bureaus openly declare that they don't want graduate students, but only undergraduates and junior college students. But as far as I am concerned, the municipal power supply bureaus in economically developed cities are still very valuable, especially for girls. In China, such as Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chongqing and Zhuhai. It depends on one's outlook on life.

Supplement: after work, I found that the knowledge of substation is quite rich. Here, you can live without delving into theory, or you can memorize a lot of knowledge about automatic substations (all of which are now transforming into digital substations) to create opportunities for possible promotion in the future. Therefore, there are outstanding people who have been promoted quickly, and there are also people who have been working here. Under such generous living conditions, many people often lose their ambitions when they first came, and it is fundamental to constantly push themselves.

2. Design Institute: Since 2000, the design institute has stood at the top of the income pyramid of the power industry, and many projects taken by the design institute are ranked after 10. However, with the gradual deepening of the reform of the national power industry, the provincial design institute has been eliminated from the provincial power companies and has become an independent enterprise (without the establishment of power system), which means that there will be tenders for inter-provincial contracted power projects in the future. It is estimated that the market competition of design institutes will be cruel in the future, and those with strong technical strength will still have high income. Of course, several large regional design institutes can exist for a long time based on their strong technical strength, such as northwest, southwest, central south, east China and Guangdong design institutes. Many of their projects are done abroad, although they are basically in India, Vietnam, Brazil, Africa and other countries.

Supplement: The work of the design institute is really busy. I often travel and work overtime day and night. I once had a classmate who worked overtime and was ill in hospital. Design institute is a place where you can learn a lot of knowledge, and it is also a challenging space, and the treatment is very generous. Especially after the design institute is separated from the system, enterprises should adopt the bonus incentive system on their own. At this time, there is no constraint on the salary of provincial companies. You should know that the initial design cost of a substation is often as high as 5000W W W.

3. Pilot Research Institute: full name: Electric Power Experimental Research Institute, also known as Electric Power Science Research Institute. Belongs to provincial electric power company/grid electric power company. It is the regional technical support department of the provincial electric power company/power grid company, and belongs to the secondary unit (the same level as the dispatching center and the municipal power supply bureau). The current development trend is that there are many technical services across provinces/regions. After the generator goes, it mainly enters the system station or relay protection station. They may travel more and work harder, but at the cost of high income.

Supplement: The status of laboratories varies from place to place. For example, in Guangdong, the laboratory is the technical backing of provincial companies, so it is highly valued and popular. The income is not clear, but it should be very good. Moreover, we can really learn a lot of field experience in the pilot plant. Don't feel unhappy when going to the substation on business. Actually, it's not. After work, I found that the knowledge in the power system book is far from reality. Real experts are on-site experts, and only if you have strong on-site experience can you show your elegance in various meetings.

4. Dispatching center: including national dispatching/general dispatching, network dispatching and provincial dispatching (provincial dispatching and local dispatching). It belongs to each corresponding power company and belongs to the secondary unit. Because it is the production department (the technical department of the pilot project), it plays an important role in the power system, and many provincial grid companies that people want to go to are actually in this department. Generally, there are five professional departments (dispatching, operation mode, automation, relay protection and market), and some dispatching departments need to work shifts.

I have a deep understanding of these departments. It's a long story The dispatcher is the facade of the center, so it can be said that the scenery is infinite. Mode Department: Busy, often need to work overtime to 10 pm (no overtime). Market: Just separated from the mode department, it is a relatively generous department. Automation and relay protection: undertaking the secondary part of power system, in a word: great responsibility. Although things are trivial, you need to be very careful. A small mistake and omission may lead you to regret your mistakes all your life. Often need to travel, (often several departments travel, so that few people in the unit). But business trips are basically meetings (review meetings, acceptance meetings, etc.). )

Supplement: Some provincial dispatching centers are local, which means that they are a department of the provincial bureau. In this way, the income and treatment of the centralized dispatching center will be very rich, and those without it will be average (because it will be suppressed by the provincial bureau). And its position in the whole system also varies from place to place. This has a lot to do with leadership (similar to the complex relationship of administrative units)

5. Other employers: EHV Bureau, Water Resources Survey and Design Institute, Development Bank, Siemens, Emerson, abb, Nanrui, Nanzi, etc. I won't introduce them one by one. But if you want to go to a foreign company: Remember to submit your resume early and always pay attention to its official website.

Attachment: Introduction of power industry units, from top to bottom: State Grid/China Southern Power Grid Corporation (subordinate second-level units: Electric Power Research Institute, State Dispatch, General Dispatch, China Southern Power Grid Technology Research Center, Five High Schools, etc. )-provincial electric power company/power grid company (subordinate secondary units: network dispatching, provincial pilot institute, network pilot institute and municipal power supply bureau)

Note: the network company and the provincial company are an administrative level; Subordinate secondary units are all at an administrative level (basically).

Finally: It is not a rumor that the power system salary reduction is said outside, at least in China Southern Power Grid. Two newcomers who entered the UHV Bureau of China Southern Power Grid this year resigned in May 438+10, the specific reason is said to be too low salary.
