Quanzhou Ocean Vocational College, established in 2009, is a vocational college approved by the Fujian Provincial People's Government, put on record by the Ministry of Education, and included in the national college entrance examination unified recruitment plan, with the qualification of independently issuing national academic certificates.

Relying on the marine cultural heritage of Quanzhou Millennium ancient port, the college has built a 2-kilometer-long stone carving landscape fence of Hayes culture, a world special ship exhibition hall, a marine culture exhibition hall, a marine science and technology film and television exhibition hall, and the only party building and ideological and political museum with the theme of sea power in domestic universities. Relying on the 35 acres of natural mountain in the school, the "Minnan Marine Culture Park Education Base" was built.
