Introduction of Railway Sleeper Products

Railway sleeper is the basic material for laying railway lines and an indispensable and important material for railway superstructure.

Its function is to fix the track gauge of the railway, bear the weight load of the rail and passing vehicles, make the track pressure load evenly dispersed and transmitted to the subgrade, and keep the line stable.

Classification of railway sleepers

Ordinary sleepers: used for laying single main lines and station lines;

Turnout sleeper: used for laying lines in turnout area;

Bridge sleeper: used for laying open deck lines on bridges.

Specification for railway sleepers

1. Ordinary sleepers: 220mm in width; Thickness160mm; ; Length 2500mm；;

2. Turnout sleeper (common TDAF002): 220mm; In width; Thickness160mm; The length is 2600~4850mm, rounded to 150mm, totaling 16 length specification;

3. Turnout sleeper (standard): 240mm in width; Thickness160mm; ; The length is 2600~4800mm, rounded to the nearest 200mm, totaling 12 length specification;

4. Bridge pillow: 220mm in width; Thickness 240, 260, 280, 300mm；; Length 3000mm；;

Specification for specifications and dimensions of railway sleepers

The national standard lines all conform to GB 154-84 sleeper standard;

Technological requirements for anti-corrosion treatment: GB922 1-88 anti-corrosion wooden pillow standard shall be implemented;
