What dishes are named after people?

Dongpo meat is said to be originated by Su Shi.

When Su Shi was an official in Hangzhou, he was caught in a heavy rain. The river burst its banks and the lake overflowed. He organized people to dig rivers and build dams on the West Lake to prevent the lake from flooding.

The local people are grateful to Su Dongpo for this matter. During the Chinese New Year, everyone came to Su Shi's house to deliver meat and wine. Su Shi accepted this piece of meat out of kindness.

But he can't finish eating so much meat, and he also knows that in order to give him a gift, it is very likely that there will be no meat at home during the New Year. He thought of a way to dice the pork, stew it with seasoning, and then distribute the meat from door to door.
