Xd Group Hospital was established in 1962. In February, it passed the evaluation of Shaanxi Provincial Health Department 1994 and was recognized as a third-class B hospital. 1996 was awarded the title of baby-friendly hospital by the Ministry of Health. After nearly 50 years of development, it has become a comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, preventive health care and rehabilitation. The hospital covers an area of 59 mu, with a building area of 35,400 square meters and 503 beds. It has 50 departments including clinical, medical, functional and logistics departments, including 23 clinical departments and 9 medical departments. It is also the designated hospital of provincial and municipal general hospitals and several district and county general hospitals.
